Farm at Succurro
Succurro is a collaborative, experimental creative project. Since 2017, we have slowly learned to cultivate food and steward this land from the perspective of nourishing our home, visitors and local community, and reflect a healthy relationships with animals, plants, team members, community and customers. Our focus is on aligning with the natural patterns and cycles of our ecosystem, and putting the needs of the animate forces first - as this in turn will nourish us.
This Summer, youβll be able to find us at several farmers markets (see below), via local food partners, or visit Succurro to purchase directly. We are also offering half or whole animal shares.
Whole & Half Animal Shares
We offer whole and half shares of pork and goat, in addition to cuts of pork in the Summer. Our pigs are raised happily running around on pasture, with supplemental feed, while the goats are raised on hay from our fields, with supplemental local grain.
A whole pig is usually 175-200lbs of meat, at $5.50/lb. They are butchered into various cuts, including bacon & sausage. Pork shares will be ready in late November/early December.
A whole goat is usually 20lbs of meat. Because the goats are small, we do not butcher them into specific cuts. You would receive either a whole animal ($300), or half - split left/right ($150). Goat shares will be ready in December.
Since we cannot guarantee exact weight for pork, you will receive a deposit invoice followed by an invoice for the balance at pickup. We send pick up details once the meat is ready; delivery within NYS may be an option for a fee. To purchase a share, fill out the form below!
